Opelousas / New Orleans, LA
Completed in 2017 for $2.5 million, this project required creative and critical design to turn an abandoned Masonic Temple into ten two-story dwelling units without simply demolishing the historic structure and details within. In addition to the structural issues, we also faced challenges meeting modern building and accessibility codes with a 150 year old building. My primary responsibilities included documentation of the existing structure, design, drafting, and detailing, as well as some construction administration.
